Happy Rakshabandhan! Don't let your rakhis end up in the trash. Keep them forever by re-purposing them.
Our ikat rakhis are crafted with the tie-dyed threads used to weave the ikat fabric by the sambalpuri ikat weavers of Odisha. We always strive to make the most of the beautiful ikat craft technique and translate it into the most unique products like these pretty rakhis.
These ikat rakhis can be re-used as a pendant once they have been used as rakhis on Raksha Bandhan. Every rakhi comes with a separate yarn necklace with a hook that connects to a loop on the back of the rakhi. See the second picture to get an idea of how it looks like a pendant.
These unique re-usable ikat rakhis are locally made by women artisans and weavers in Ahmedabad and Odisha.
