Created in India, batik for these shirts is handcrafted by artisans in a village near Bhuj, Gujarat. Working with local craftspeople enables us to decentralise our supply chain, providing artisans with the opportunity to lead more wholesome lives in their own communities. The pre-dyed fabric is then transformed in a fair wage factory in Delhi. This specialised small-scale production facility minimises the amount of waste generated, and reuses any scraps of material for patchwork fabric. Each item may feature an extra embroidery or patch to optimise the use of leftover fabric, but still showcase the same look, feel, and finish. Feel proud to wear this unique and special piece.
