Juhi is an IT Professional along with being a proactive zero waste practitioner at Mommying Work & founder of Zerowaste Gurgaon.
She says that being a conscious person always has helped her switch to a zero-waste lifestyle. She felt the need to switch to this lifestyle after her daughter as she wanted to provide a better future for her.
Segregating dry waste to give it away for recycling is one of the big challenges she faced while knowing that she will need at least 15 houses to collect dry waste from. Another challenge for Juhi was to include bio-enzymes in her routine along with shopping grocery in a sustainable way.
Juhi’s belief in living a sustainable life branches out to spreading positivity about it with her community. She says that living a sustainable life has benefited her in every possible manner including saving money & leading a healthy lifestyle. While your focus is to live sustainably you are more inclined to homemade things & you ignore packaged food. That way she explains what’s good for the environment is good for us too.
While sharing her sustainable journey with her community at Mommying Work, she believes that she inspires the whole of the community to practice the same lifestyle. Along with sharing her journey with her community, she has also founded Zero Waste Gurgaon, where she organizes meet-ups to meet like-minded people & spread awareness by conducting workshops.
